Missions

Our mission is to be obedient to what the Lord commanded in Matthew 28 when he said that we should make disciples of all the nations.  This starts with sharing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ with our friends and neighbors, and then extends across both cultural and geographical barriers to the ends of the earth.  In particular, our focus is to build up the church, the body of Christ, through evangelism, church planting, discipleship, and leadership training.

Local outreach is accomplished through individual initiative as God provides the opportunities, as well as planned church activities that encourage outreach in our community.

Global outreach, commonly called missions, is primarily accomplished by sending missionaries and short-term teams around the world to model Christ’s love, teach the Bible, plant churches, make disciples, and train church leaders.
