Glorifying God by making mature disciples of Jesus Christ.
At Northwest Community Church, our vision is to glorify God by making mature disciples of Jesus Christ. We are a community committed to proclaiming the gospel, growing deeper in our faith, and serving side by side. Each time we gather, we open God’s Word to be instructed, equipped, and encouraged. Spiritual gifts are used to build one another up, and meaningful friendships help us walk faithfully together. We hold a high view of God, trust fully in His Word, and embrace an honest view of humanity’s need for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. By God’s grace, we seek to grow, serve, and live as disciple-making disciples.
Our church offers Sunday classes, Wednesday activities, Bible studies, and special
events to foster spiritual growth and involve every age group in church life.
“Women of the Word” is an opportunity for all women to gather on a Saturday morning for brunch, fellowship, and a focused time of teaching by one of our own women. The theme for our events in 2026 is “Spiritual Disciplines, the Forgotten Blessings.”
Please plan to join us for our second event for this year with teaching by Ruth Dempsey on “Contrite Confessions.” The cost is $7/person. Please register by August 10 to help us plan. Feel free to arrive as early at 8:30 am for check-in; we will begin promptly at 9 am.
Whether you’re a child, student, young adult, or seasoned believer — there’s a ministry here for you to connect, grow, and serve.
Being a Christian is more than identifying yourself with a particular religion or affirming a certain value system. Being a Christian means you have embraced God’s new way of living through Jesus Christ!
